The past year in WWE has been great, and it all leads up to tonight – Night One of Wrestlemania XL. Tonight’s event features many big matches. Wrestlemania is like the climax of WWE’s storytelling over the past year. This year could be the climax of a story that started when Roman Reigns became WWE Universal Champion three and a half years ago. That marked the beginning of the Bloodline storyline, where Reigns became a top star by teaming up with his family and Paul Heyman.
Last year, Cody Rhodes had a chance to end Reigns’ reign and become champion himself. But because of interference from the Bloodline, that didn’t happen. Now, a year later, he gets another chance. But that’s tomorrow. Tonight, Cody teams up with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins to face Reigns and The Rock. If Cody and Seth win, the Bloodline can’t interfere in Cody’s match against Reigns tomorrow. But if they lose, The Rock and the Bloodline can do whatever they want during Cody and Reigns’ match.
