UPSC NDA 2 2024 Notification OUT

The UPSC has announced the NDA 2/2024 recruitment for 404 Lieutenant (Officer) positions. If you’re interested, you can apply online between May 15 and June 4, 2024. The exam will take place on September 1, 2024. To be eligible, you must be an unmarried male or female born between January 1, 2001, and January 1, 2006, and meet specific height requirements. Eligibility

The National Defence Academy (NDA) has different posts with specific educational requirements and age limits. For the Army Wing, you need to have passed the 12th class exam. For the Air Force and Naval Wings, and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy, you need to have passed the 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. If you’re currently in the 12th class or an equivalent program under the 10+2 pattern, you’re also eligible. You must be an unmarried male or female born between January 2, 2001, and January 1, 2006.

Application Fees

The application fees for the UPSC NDA 2 2024 exam are Rs. 200 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. SC, ST, Sons of JCOs/ORs, and female candidates don’t have to pay any fees. You can pay online using a Visa, MasterCard, Rupay Credit/Debit Card, UPI, or Internet banking.

Selection Process

The UPSC NDA 2 2024 selection process involves several stages:

Written Exam: Candidates must first pass a written examination.

SSB/Personality Test/Interview/Medical Examination/DV: Successful candidates from the written exam undergo a series of tests, including the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview, personality test, medical examination, and document verification.

Merit: The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in all stages of the selection process.
